Nicola - AKA Nicola Fearn Photography

I am currently studying part time - level 3 certificate in freelance photography and studying full time - Diploma in Digital Photography.
I have been interested in photography for well over 5 years now and love what i do, and will never look back.
Hi, Im Nicola, I live in Blenheim and i am a Mum to one very active 2 year old boy, who is my pride and joy.

My passion for photography grew when I started working for Harvery Norman, where I bought my first Digital SLR Camera in 2007
I love going out and taking photos of just scenery, objects and most of all, people.
I am a volunteer photographer for the Littlest Heroes Project.

Tasha and i met online through a mutual friend of ours, and had found we had quiet alot in common, along with similar style in photography - which these days is very rare, she has since become a very inspirational photographer to me, and everything we  learn, We learn together.

I'm extreamly jealous of Tash at the moment, as she has a better camera than me - lucky i get to play with it tho.. :)

Tasha - AKA Photography By Tasha

I am a Blenheim based, full time working mum to two beautiful kids, who I am sure are sick of the camera always in their face! - along with the husband too ;)

My first memory of photography is my dad taking his camera everywhere, and pictures always being taken.  He was an original SLR Photographer using the old 35mm film.  I'm guessing that that is where my passion for photography came from.  As I child, another fond memory, is of dad purchasing a brand new flash gun.  The absolute awe and curiosity over it.

I purchased my first 35mm SLR back in 1999.  It was daunting.  I always ALWAYS used it in full automatic mode as film was so expensive and I was too nervous to have a film developed that was either over or under exposed, because back then, there was no way to fix it.

Skip to 2008 and I bought a DSLR (digital Single Lens Reflex camera).  Oh the fun........no money wasted on bad pictures - simply delete and try again.  This is when I self trained myself to use my camera in full manual mode (with the help of YouTube Tutorials) and capture the best the camera could give me.

Last year I was introduced to Nicola, and after realising our similar style in photography, we went out a did a few shoots together, and from there Double Trouble Photographers were formed.  I am honored to be working with such a talented photographer.
